Since 1974, R.M. Specialties has made custom parts for street rods and customs. So many aftermarket "custom" parts do not really fit properly because they are really made for a different application. It then becomes up to the installer to modify or alter the custom part in some way to make it fit. No matter what part or fabrication R.M. Specialties makes, it has to fit properly and work like it is supposed to.
R.M. Specialties primarily builds custom steering columns and associated parts with an emphasis on exceptional design and engineering. With the new, larger facility in Prior Lake, Minnesota, a wider spectrum of products is possible. We are constantly branching out and expanding the possibilities. R.M. Specialties also has a full line of smooth steering columns that are built to order. We custom build 3/4 inch thick column drops to your specifications as well as floor and firewall plates, steering linkage and shift linkage. With the new facility in Prior Lake, R.M. Specialties is able to handle your entire custom car project, metal fabrication, and mechanical repair.
